Short Famous Speeches In History
I have to memorize a short speech?
Any ideas on what speech I should recite for speech class? I wanted to do Lou Gehrig’s speech, but it’s not long enough. Preferably something 2 paragraphs, and it has to be by someone famous in history.
Any ideas?
go to www.poetryoutloud.com it has a lot of poems by famous authors that range from long to short. I am sure you will find the right one for you. I had to recite a speech several times during my years in High School. I would always have butterflies in my stomach, but I overcame it and moved on.
