Grooms Wedding Speech by Eileen L. Mcgee
Marriage binds together a man and a woman in a social institution that arises from legal commitments or religious covenants. This celebration is usually followed by a banquet, which is known to many as the wedding reception. During this time, Speeches are delivered and toasts are made especially by the newly wed couple. Here, now, is a sample grooms wedding speech.
To start your wedding speech by the groom, you may express your sincerest gratitude to your guests – friends, family, and relatives – for sharing that wonderful day with you and your bride. You may choose to say something along these lines: “Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! On behalf of my beautiful bride, I would like to give my sincerest words of thanks to everyone who are gathered here to celebrate this wonderful day with us. It is because of you, friends, family, and relatives, that this day has become more memorable for me and my bride. We truly appreciate the efforts you have put in just to be here. Your time and your well wishes have graced this joyous day for me and my wife.”
Another option for an introduction is this: “Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! On behalf of my beautiful bride, please allow me to thank all of you for joining us today to celebrate our wedding day. It warms my heart to be in the company of so many people who are important in our lives. My wife and I are very much delighted to welcome you here to share our special day with us.”

After you have extended your words of gratitude to all your guests and to all the people who helped with the wedding preparations, you may then share with your guests brief anecdotes about you and your lovely wife. Remember to choose which stories to tell, though. Do not share private jokes that are meant to be kept secret between the two of you, and do not humiliate your bride in an attempt to be funny.
Finally, remember to thank your bride for her gift of love. Be as sincere and spontaneous as possible. Say something that goes like this: “To my bride, thank you for loving me. You have always made me the happiest man alive. I am so lucky to have you. For that and more, I love you and I always will.” End your speech with a toast.
