Do You Need to Make a Public Speech BUT the Thought of it Grips You With Fear?    by Deb Whiteley

How would you like to present a powerful, motivating talk for audiences, with thunderous applause and a sea of smiling faces every time you speak? Wouldn’t that be an achievement? Well as distant as it seems, it is possible to achieve public speaking with the knowhow of someone who has accomplished exactly that.

When you are required to make a speech does it make you feel sick, you’re your knees start knocking or do get a lump in you throat that makes you spiral into a panic of not being able to get your words out? If the answer is YES then you are not the only one. How do those seemingly gifted people get up and speak naturally and comfortably, raise a laugh or become serious as the subject takes its course?

Well let’s start at the beginning:

At some point in your life you will most likely to be asked to give a speech or presentation to a group of people you know or who are complete strangers to you. Either way if you really don’t feel comfortable being in front of a group of people where you are required to speak then the experience can be pretty daunting, I’m sure you would agree.
