90th Birthday Speeches
I need a short toast or sentimental speech to say to my dad on his 90th birthday?
I am the daughter and my Dad will be 90 years old
shortly and we are throwing him a party and I would like to say something or make some sort of toast,sentimental and/or humorous
as well but it must be short and sweet as I am very shy and nervous to do anything like this. Could anyone suggest to me what I could say as I am terrible at writing these sort of things

In the mean time if anyone has any more suggestions or even something I could add to what I may want to say that maybe you would say to your own father if you were in my place that would help me out would be appreciated as I am no writer and do not want to make a fool of myself.
Good for you!! This is your opportunity to share a fond memory of your father, what a wonderful gift you are giving him with this toast. So many children neglect to share with their parents what has precious and special to them growing up. Remember that the focus will not be on you, but on your father. Look at your father while you are speaking. You-Tube is a great place to go to get ideas. I listened to a number of Wedding Speeches to get an idea of what I should say to my daughter on her wedding day. Yes it takes a long time to write it. Once you have it down on paper, practice, practice, practice in front of a mirror. It will give you confidence and the more familiar you are with what you are going to say to your dad, the more comfortable you will be. He will love you even more for it, know how difficult it was for you to do this.
